Whimsical Grammes Japanese Yellow Birds on Branches Bookends

This is a stunning pair of vintage Japanese yellow birds on branch heavy solid wood, brass, and enamel bookends. They were made by Grammes; C. 1940s. They have beautiful Japanese style enameled yellow birds sitting on branches with lovely green foliage, all outlined in brass with brass details. The Bases are made of solid brass and are felted on the bottom. Such a lovely set!Nice vintage condition; wear consistent with age and use. Some wear/chips on corners and edges.
