Button-fly versions are common, but I don't see the zipper type exceptionally often. The zip is a CONMAR "C" shape zip. It's the type without fur, so you can relish it for three seasons.
The zipper pull has come off, so it's difficult to put the zip back on the rail if you lower it complete the way. I advocate wearing it without zipping it down completely. There is no damage to the rail itself.
There are stains in various places, but it's relatively clean for its age.
