The vintage rosaries were handed out to soldiers, sailors, and flying aces in the World War I era over 100 years ago. Our rosaries truly closely reproduce the historical rosary design. It is charming yet made to withstand the harsh environments of war.
【CRAFTSMANSHIP】These WWI Battle Beads are the original rosaries handmade by the Rugged Rosaries’ artisans in our Texas studio since 2012. We use brass ball chains with silver patina. They are firm, non-magnetic, non-corrosive, and weighty. The Our Father beads are slightly larger to aid your meditative prayer. The beads glide smoothly through your fingers.
【SIZE】The overall length of these rosaries is 21.5 inches. They can be worn, but also bunch up nicely to carry in your pocket as these beads don’t kink, or tangle up, like ordinary jewelry style rosaries. The elegant traditional Catholic crucifix is of the highest quality and has splendid detail and is 2.25 inches tall. The Our Lady Miraculous Center Medal is 1 inch.
