This is a vintage brooch from the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH). Established in latest York in 1869, this museum is also famous for being the setting of the movie "Night at the Museum."
The gold-tone base features a hummingbird motif. The wings are green enamel, and the head and body are adorned with a colorful pave of emeralds, brown, amethyst, and yellow rhinestones.
The hummingbird, also known as a humming bird, is a happy motif symbolizing "cherish, beauty, and happiness." Wearing this on your outings might bring you good luck!
