The blooms are a striking blend of blues, magentas and cozy touches of yellow and pink.In creating this unusual piece, I used my understanding of paint opacities and densities to spark a dynamic interplay reminiscent of a chemical reaction. By meticulously layering acrylics and manipulating them with a hair dryer, I induced interactions that formed intricate cells and delicate lace patterns. Not a single paintbrush was used, allowing the colors to blend and separate in organic, unpredictable ways. Painting wraps around edge of canvas. Ready to hang as is.
